Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia Hotel is expected to open its doors on May 25, 2021, offering 234 rooms and suites, plus over 14,000 square feet of event space in Los Angeles.
Located opposite the Santa Anita Racetrack, the hotel was developed by Chateau Group founders, Eric Chen and Ann Sung, and was "brought to life" by Linda Snyder Associates and AO Architects. Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia is owned by SAICP, LLC and managed by Pacifica Hotels.
The hotel’s dining destination Mélange will showcase Asian fusion-inspired cuisine helmed by chef Mako. The hotel’s hub, Longitude 118, is a social gathering place and will offer private label and international spirits, wines and beers, along with a curated high tea and highballs cocktail program.
Good to know: Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia will offer poolside delivery and dining experiences at the year-round outdoor heated pool, as well as 24-hour in-room meal, spirit and packaged-item delivery.
There is also over 14,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces spanning five separate rooms—three of which are private dining rooms—as well as over 1,800 square feet of indoor pre-function space and an expansive event lawn. "Creative Meetings by Le Méridien" is designed to unlock inspiration and foster innovation: From locally inspired flavors to cultural experiences, the team will create an immersive meeting atmosphere that brings the destination in. The hotel’s ballroom will have floor-to-ceiling glass walls and doors that will open to the event lawn, where guests can enjoy views of the nearby racetrack.
Guests can also enjoy global art installations curated by renowned local art consultancy Daniel Fine Art. Upon entering the hotel, guests will be welcomed by a handmade porcelain and glass abstraction of peacock tail feathers by Ron Dier Design. Works throughout the hotel will also include pieces by Serge Bloch, one of the most prolific illustrators in France, who frequently illustrates advertisements for Hermès; David Ellis, an international multimedia artist; and William Attaway, an established Venice Beach artist with several public art sculptures around Southern California.
