The Serafina Beach Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has opened a new, oceanfront event space.
Called the Mediterranean Terrace, the new outdoor space spans 942 square feet. It is set adjacent to the hotel’s 2,295-square-foot Mediterranean Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 140 people, reception-style The space also offers views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Other meeting and event spaces at the property include the aMare Terrace, a 995-square-foot oceanfront outdoor event space adjacent to the hotel's aMare restaurant, allowing it to host private dining and cocktails under the restaurant’s pergola, or in the open air on a new pool deck. For smaller events, there is the Condado Boardroom, which spans 288 square feet and seats 10 people. The Boardroom also offers views of the Laguna del Condado.
The 96-room Serafina Beach Hotel is a hotel in San Juan’s trendy Condado district that just opened in March 2018. Guestrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the Laguna del Condado. In addition to the Mediterranean aMare restaurant, other food and beverage options on property include the PiñaCo Bar and By the Pool, an infinity poolside lounge overlooking the ocean.
The hotel also offers an “Experience the Island” concierge service connecting guests with local experiences, such as exploring the island’s bioluminescent bays, private helicopter tours, tours of historic Old San Juan and excursions to the El Yunque rainforest.
