Delano Dubai is slated to open in October 2024. The property by Dubai Holding will be framed against the shores of Bluewaters Dubai, offering a mix of residential, retail, hospitality and entertainment concepts. The hotel will offer 167 guestrooms and 84 suites, including a five-bedroom Penthouse, a sea-front pool, and three F&B options, including the Rose Bar, part of the Miami original.
Delano Miami was popular in the mid-90s, while the upcoming opening of Delano Dubai marks a milestone in the brand’s evolution. Conceived by design studios Elastic Architects, LaBottega, SA Consultants and Y Design, the interiors of Delano Dubai have also been influenced by the Miami original designed by Philippe Starck.
Each guestroom will sport bespoke furnishings, a private balcony or terrace and a marble bathroom. The suites will have one or two bedrooms, living and dining spaces, as well as private outdoor space including terraces, gardens and pools. Set across the entirety of the seventh floor, the Delano Penthouse will offer five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a private elevator entrance, private infinity pool and two terraces offering views over the city’s skyline and the Arabian Gulf.
Food and beverage venues at the hotel include Tutto Passa, an Italian restaurant and terrace; Blue Door, a beachfront restaurant; and the Rose Bar. Guests will also have access to a private beach and landscaped gardens, as well as a pool that draws inspiration from Roman baths.
