As Hong Kong roars back to life, Mondrian has announced its arrival with the launch of Mondrian Hong Kong. The hotel offers 324 guestrooms, including 12 two-bay suites, in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong’s most vibrant neighborhood. It comprises elements inspired by Hong Kong’s history, has a floating minibar, offers views of Victoria Harbour and island skyline, plus showcases curated works and performances by local artists.
Adding to the dining and bar experience is Discover Avoca, a cocktail bar that adds to Kowloon’s evolving bar scene with DJs, sounds, creative comfort food and vibrant energy. There is also a 40th floor rooftop space that will host cultural happenings, community gatherings and unexpected performances. Guests can also expect a "nose-to-tail" Italian steakhouse by culinary philosopher and legendary butcher Dario Cecchini.
Good to know: The hotel provides immediate MTR access and is in proximity to all the action of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
Pretty cool: As part of Mondrian’s regard for its neighborhood and community, its team is committed to giving back and, rather than the traditional welcome of VIPs and celebrities as the first guests, Mondrian is marking its launch and arrival in the city by inviting Single Parent Families to a Staycation.
Mondrian is partnering with SoCO and the Hong Kong Single Parents Association, both prominent NGOs, to invite single parent families to take a break from their daily routine. Guests will enjoy complimentary one-night accommodation including breakfast and dinner at the restaurants, along with a gift bag offered by the Owning Company Peterson Group. Mondrian also includes M+ museum tickets to the families, adding a lifestyle experience that aligns with its cultural mission of pushing boundaries through creative exploration. Committed to community, the tickets offer an opportunity for inspiration and new perspectives through thought-provoking art.
The opening initiative marks the beginning of Mondrian’s community involvement, its mission to be an integral part of the city and use business with a social and cultural purpose.
