As one of Hilton’s fastest growing brands in the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton Garden Inn has announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Cancun Airport. The hotel’s debut follows recent Hilton Garden Inn openings in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Peru. Hilton has over 180 properties in the Caribbean and Latin America, across 13 brands, including over 30 Hilton Garden Inn hotels.
Hilton Garden Inn’s updated region-specific prototype caters to the Caribbean and Latin American market while ensuring consistency and flexibility to owners and developers. The prototype offers streamlined design, featuring local materials and designers, a color palette inspired by the destination, and a food and beverage program that reflects the local flavors with ingredients and traditional dishes to create an authentic experience for guests.
As the first international hotel chain to arrive in Argentina, the 76-key Hilton Garden Inn Santiago del Estero opened in October last year. It is located near the Forum Convention Center and Termas de Río Hondo International Racetrack, and features a full-service spa, two pools, on-site dining and 2,400 square feet of meeting space.
The brand’s first outpost in the Mexican city of Guanajuato, the 148-room Hilton Garden Inn Silao Aeropuerto Bajio opened in December last year. It is located six miles from the Guanajuato International Airport, offers free shuttle service for guests and features a rooftop bar and restaurant with views of Cerro del Cubilete.
Located in the Pinheiros neighborhood of Sao Paulo, Brazil, the 170-key Hilton Garden Inn Sao Paulo Reboucas also opened in December last year. It includes an onsite restaurant and gym, and is located near the city center, museums and popular historic sites.
As the first and only hotel connected to Cancun International Airport, the newly opened 186-room Hilton Garden Inn Cancun Airport features an open-air restaurant, pool and business center.
Slated to open in the second quarter of this year, Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores has 235 rooms and features a rooftop pool, eight meeting rooms, business center and onsite dining. It is located near the city center and Playa Waikiki Beach.
Hilton has more than 180 hotels open throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, and approximately 105 in the pipeline. The company expects to open more than 20 properties in the region throughout 2022.
