Following an extensive renovation of the former Hotel Zero Degrees, RMS Companies has officially announced the opening of The Watershed, a 96-key boutique hotel and event venue in Norwalk, CT.
RMS Companies first opened the former Hotel Zero Degrees in 2013 and operated the hotel under that name for the past decade. After a five-month renovation, The Watershed has debuted as a "New England-style oasis" along the Norwalk River. The renovated space includes redesigned guestrooms and suites, a refurbished lobby and lounge, conference rooms and a rooftop terrace and bar. Beinfield Architecture, a local architecture firm that specializes in the hospitality industry, and HVS Design, based in Maryland, spearheaded The Watershed’s transformation.
The Watershed’s accommodations include custom-designed furnishings, 55-inch flat-screen TVs, designer beds with down duvets and bathrooms stocked with toiletries. Siena Ristorante, the hotel’s on-site restaurant partner, offers Italian cuisine alongside craft cocktails and a curated wine list. Additional on-site amenities include Wi-Fi, a fitness center, an on-site Grab & Go market, dry cleaning and laundry services, and more.
Meeting and event spaces at The Watershed include three private conference rooms that can be combined into one large room, complete with full A/V capabilities and an open-air rooftop bar and lounge, overlooking the Norwalk River and Silvermine Woods. These spaces offer F&B catering service by Siena Ristorante and can serve as settings for both corporate and social events. From tailored weddings and milestone celebrations to corporate outings, The Watershed’s team will help plan and execute a seamless event.
