FCM Hires Lindsay Straub as its New Global Head of Sales

Business travel company FCM has hired Lindsay Straub as its new global head of sales. In her leadership role, she will oversee and manage the company’s global sales strategy, identifying key opportunities for revenue growth across the business. Straub will work closely with FCM’s regional sales leaders throughout the world to drive pipeline management, increase conversion and improve customer acquisition. She will focus on developing strategic initiatives and innovative solutions that will help optimize sales processes and enhance productivity.

Based out of New York City, Straub will also be responsible for facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational alignment and a cohesive sales strategy across departments, from account management, commercial, marketing, operations, product and more.

Straub joins at a time of "exponential growth" for the company. FCM has secured significant wins with some notable clients that have resulted in increased market share over the last few years. Straub will look to step in and capitalize on this recent momentum to spearhead additional growth and set the business up for even more success going forward.

An industry veteran, Straub brings over 15 years of extensive travel industry experience to the role, including the last 12 years with the BTN Group (Business Travel News, Travel Procurement and The Beat), a global source of business travel and meeting news, data, analysis and research. She most recently served as the company’s vice president of sales, where she managed the global sales organization, driving growth and acquisition of new and existing customers across all verticals in the travel ecosystem.

While at the BTN Group, Straub supported the development of new digital and content products and led the planning and execution of various events. She was also integral in the group’s expansion into new markets such as Europe, the U.K. and Asia. Straub currently serves as the GBTA Ladders co-chair and was named to GBTA WINiT’s ‘Top 50 Women in Travel’ in 2022.
