Global DMC Partners Announces Latest in GDP University Series

Global DMC Partners (GDP) has announced the latest in its GDP University offerings. GDP University is a complimentary online learning platform that offers a range of courses for professionals in the event, meeting and travel industry. These include the basics of planning a meeting or event, learning about the newest global trends such as event tech and sustainability, and more.

The next session will be “How to Negotiate in an Age of Non-Negotiation,” held September 24 at 11:30 am EST. In today’s landscape, negotiation can feel like a one-sided conversation. As the market currently favors suppliers, planners are facing more rigid terms and fewer concessions. This webinar, complete with a panel of experts representing hotels, A/V, planners and DMCs, will provide practical strategies for navigating these challenges. Participants will dive into current trends in contract negotiations and discuss how to protect budgets while ensuring a fair deal for both parties.

  • Hands-on A.I. For Planners (December 4) – This course will incorporate both advice and “how-to” tutorials on how planners can leverage A.I. to help with their day-to-day tasks.
