The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, located on the central Gulf Coast of Florida, recently expanded its executive sales team with the appointment of two new senior sales managers. Diann Flanders will oversee catering sales, while Jennifer Hanna will manage group sales.
A hospitality professional with over 25 years of experience, Diann Flanders comes to The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota from Prime Vacations, where she served as regional sales manager for eight luxury boutique hotels in southwest Florida. Previous roles include director of dealer development at the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association and executive meeting planner/general manager at Leedom and Associates LLC, where she organized more than 100 programs per year. As senior sales manager, catering, Flanders will combine her experience in sales and event planning with her knowledge of food and wine to elevate the resort’s wedding market.
Jennifer Hanna joins The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota from Marriott IndyPlace, where she served as market director of catering sales for several years. Hanna previously spent three years with Le Meridien Indianapolis and Azul Hospitality Group as director of sales and marketing. Prior to this, she served as senior sales manager at JW Marriott Indianapolis, focusing on local corporate customers and business travelers. As senior sales manager, group, Hanna will use her abundant sales experience to identify and target groups that will generate business for the hotel.
